The ones listed here are the ones we'd recommend for the various applications in caving with important features including:- Stainless Steel Spring Pushers: Some krabs have plastic spring pushers which provide consistant spring tension throught the working life of the krab but if grit or mud gets in behind the pusher can pop out of its retainer rendering it useless. Plastic pushers are good in the climbing environment but not underground. Locking bezels that do not make contact with the nose: When the bezel is in the locked position it should not make contact with the main body of the krab. If it does it will jam after the krab has been loaded. Under load the nose is pulled away from the bezel. With vibration the bezel spins until it again makes contact with the nose. When the load is released the nose pushes hard into the bezel preventing it from being undone. Notchless noses: It's not vital to have a notchless nose but this type of krab is less prone to snagging. Clog Standard 10 Screw Gate For rigging, tackle bag attachment and general use. It could be used as a cheap option cowstail krab but it's not ideal due to the conventional hooked nose. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY: We source many of our products from very small manufacturers who don't have registered bar codes. Although technically possible it is impractical for us to operate an automated stock control system. We would be working for the machine rather than the machine working for us and there aren't enough hours in the day to do it. However, it is rare for us to be out of stock of anything and we do our best keep our site updated accordingly. If we know we're out of stock of something we remove the "add" button or put a note against the item. In the rare event we sell out of something between web site updates or we miss something, we would let you know, giving you the choice of keeping the item on order or cancelling.
