Product Specification Product specifications and availability may change without notice. We do our best to keep our web site up to date but it is inevitable that manufacturers may change specifications without telling us. It is your responsibility to check upon delivery that the specifications printed on the product or supplied by the manufacturer with the product meet your requirements. Delivery Schedule Orders placed before 3pm will usually be despached the same day (Monday to Friday) by:
Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery for items up to 2kg (usually arrives next working day) Royal Mail Insurred Parcels for items over 2kg (usually 3-5 working days, sometimes a little longer)
For urgent items we can arrange delivery Royal Mail Special Delivery or a carrier. Call for details.

If a delivery is delayed or goes missing our liability shall be limited to replacing the Goods within a reasonable time or the option or a refund.

Back Orders Due to the nature of our supplier base it isn't practical to indicate live stock levels on our web site. However, we do our best to keep everything in and it's rare for an item to be out of stock. We try to indicate any serious supply problems where applicable. If we are out of stock and can't supply immediately we would let you know, giving you the choice of keeping the item on order or cancelling. NEW "COOKIES" LEGISLATION:- On the 25th May the EU introduced new legislation governing the use of cookies. By law we have to comply with this but to put it simply, we can't (yet). We can't process orders and post packages without knowing what it is that you want or where you would like it to be delivered. Until software developers and ISP's provide an alternative we're stuck with cookies and the only way could comply now would be to stop trading. |
Returns Policy First of all, we are real people, in a real shop, that you can talk to. We're not a huge web based company with a call centre. If you have a problem we will do our best to sort it out. This might not happen as quickly as some people might like because we are bound by the laws of physics and the laws of the land, and we can't do magic. However we will do it as fast as we can!
Faulty when delivered: If you find a product to be faulty upon delivery please return it immediately. We can either replace (subject to availability) or refund. If we deliver a faulty item we will refund you for the cheapest insurable rate for the consignment based upon Royal Mail's pricing at the time. See postal advice below.
Fault develops within warranty period:- If a product develops a fault within its warranty period (for warranty information see information supplied with product) return it to us and, depending on the nature of the product and the fault, we'll have it repaired or replaced under warranty. Goods must be returned clean and dry, and in the case of clothing or sleeping bags etc., laundered.
Fault develops out of warranty:- It may be possible to get what ever it is repaired or obtain a spare part. If you need to, give us a call.
Other reasons:- If you find the item you bought to be the wrong size, or not as expected, we will happily exchange or refund it. Goods must be returned as new, as supplied and in a saleable condition.
Who pays for the return post? We will refund you and pay for the postage if >>>>> We sent you something incorrectly. We would also post the replacement to you post free. In the event that you choose a refund your original postal charge would be refunded as well. We sent you something that was faulty or broken when delivered. You pay the postage if >>>>> You change your mind about something and decide to send it back for an exchange or refund. In the event of a refund, you would be refunded for the goods but not the original postage. If the item is repaired or replaced we would pay the post back to you. In the case of a refund you would be refunded for the goods but not your original postage. The item is out of warranty.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY: We source many of our products from very small manufacturers who don't have registered bar codes. Although technically possible it is impractical for us to operate an automated stock control system. We would be working for the machine rather than the machine working for us and there aren't enough hours in the day to do it. However, it is rare for us to be out of stock of anything and we do our best keep our site updated accordingly. If we know we're out of stock of something we remove the "add" button or put a note against the item. In the rare event we sell out of something between web site updates or we miss something, we would let you know, giving you the choice of keeping the item on order or cancelling.
